We had a flat on the road and did not have the lock key to put the spare on and had to have the car towed home. You guys picked up the car from our home. The tire couldn’t be repaired and was replaced. We now have the key and a working car. Thank you Covert Chevy.

Special thanks to the employee that helped me get connected a live employee in the service department. No one as answering in the service department when I called to make an appointment. This operator/front desk employee put me through to the service Manager so I could man an appointment. Everyone seemed to have left for lunch that day and they had no one available to answer phones in the service department. The manager who was at lunch also helped me out. One thing about Bastrop dealership, someone is going to make sure you are helped and willing to go the extra mile for customers. Glad sales department had someone staffed during lunch hours.

I recently purchased a new 2024 Chevy Traverse, which was sold to me with the check engine light on and is experiencing problems. The car sells man never pointing that out. With the new tech and big screen it wasn’t even noticeable. I scheduled to have it serviced tomorrow for the second time. Unfortunately, the Bastrop, Texas Chevy dealership has not provided satisfactory customer service. Also was promised a loaner vehicle if mines has to stay in the shop. But, the dealership is telling me they don’t have any. I honestly will take my business elsewhere from now on. I purchased three times here and have not been treated good or well taken care of.

David, our service advisor was very courteous and helpful. The On Star stopped working one week after we purchased the Yukon. We were provided a loaner vehicle while repairs were being done. After 2 weeks we were informed that the intelliscreen was the problem. The earliest delivery date possible on the screen is mid May. Everything is good since we can drive the Yukon on our vacation beginning this week. Is it normal that the intelliscreens are not that normally in stock and another location or hub?

The oil change was complete in a timely manner. along with the recall on my truck. My passenger windshield spray is not working. I asked to have it checked out. When I got my truck back i tried out the sprayers and noticed the passenger side is still not working.

Overall experience was good. I'm very happy with my vehicle and feel like i got a fair'ish deal. Picking up my vehicle took way too long. Two and a half hours. No financing. That was frustrating. Why wasn't the truck detailed and waiting on me? The realization at time of title signing that my "new" truck had 3,000 miles on it was an unpleasant surprise to me. Zero financial adjustment for this fact (even though i asked) was frustrating. Now i'm starting to sound like a disgruntled customer but I'm really not. The financial person was excellent and organized. That part was the easiest– until i balked at the unusual mileage for a "new" vehicle. My salesperson was nice, kind, and patient. She helped me get a detail that wasn't standard on the truck. Bed liner or was it wheel well covers. Not really sure which was added but at the end of the day i got the truck that i wanted at a price that i was happy with. My salesperson helped me set up the MYChevy app and helped me through contacting OnStar. Not quite a 5 star experience but pretty close. Keep trying:)

Well, we were there to buy vehicle #7 and #8. During that purchase Buster Sauers told that we were crazy for walking away from the deal he wanted to give us for the two vehicles we purchaced that, this information reached one of Covert family and they called us back and we made a better deal. We wanted to give Buster a second chance. I came in to buy a new truck, I explained I had a motorcycle to trade and my own financing. When my wife and I retuned to purchase the and look at another car, he was very shourt with us and made fun of pre aproval and he was sure he could beat our financing. He argued with my wife. It was a mess. We finally got out of there diappointed. We are no longer going use Buster for any future purchase.

Great Service

Everything went smooth with the sale. Easy to negotiate. Michael was great to work with and I usually dread dealing with salesman. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Only complaint is finance did not give me info on payment dates, etc and I never received all my paperwork. I still need that.

It took several conversations with different people before I found somebody to put forth a little leg work. I wanted a specific hitch in my pickup, and was told that they could do it. When I asked how long it would take and when I could pick up the truck they said they couldn’t do the ball. Overall I am happy with the experience and purchase even though I did not deal with the same person I had been speaking to on the phone when I picked up the pickup.

Your Service Consultant, Richie Williams, and staff are always very friendly, courteous, and helpful when I bring my vehicles in.

The service department lacks the customer care experience. They also do not follow up on requested service. They lack knowledge on the know how to fix new model vehicles...they sell them with very low to no options but don't know how to trouble shoot them. Covert's representation of a Family dynamic company is and has always failed at matching what it respresents...parts were missing from my new vehicle when repair was done and I was handed back my keys. I had to contact the service advisor and he himself didnt know what happened placed me on hold only to come back and say that the repair person may have misplaced. Although he replaced with a new instock one..This should have never happened. The trust from the sale to the service to remaining loyal deserves a fresh look at the gaps in between. This dealership all together should take a huge look from the outside looking in and see just how bad they make themselves look as they put it as Covert Family... we r here for you! I knew I should have never given this place a second chance. They suck!!! I'd rather drive 44 miles or more to the next chevy/ gm lot.

When you buy a new vehicle that gets a transmission leak at three thousand miles the dealership should make sure you have a loaner. We were never able to get one.

Good morning. Thank you for getting my car in and repaired. I appreciate your help. I am not frustrated with you but I am very frustrated with this car. Please forward to the appropriate area. I am writing to follow up on the ongoing issues I've experienced with my vehicle, which I purchased new with the expectation of dependable transportation. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. Since approximately 23,000 miles, the car has presented a series of increasingly serious problems, leaving me stranded and significantly impacting my travel plans and personal safety. My concerns began on August 17, 2024 when the car completely shut down and steering wheel locked while driving 75 mph on I-10 near San Antonio, requiring a tow and leaving me stranded. The fuel pump module went out without warning. This was followed by two separate incidents in Austin in March 2025 where the car failed to start. Screen went completely black and nothing in the car worked. Replaced the fob battery and that helped for a bit. Despite reporting these issues, a scheduled appointment for repairs was approximately six weeks later in order to get a loaner car. On March 30, 2025 the car malfunctioned again in Houston, with complete system failure, including the screen and starting mechanism. Leaving me stranded in Houston. After bringing it in for another inspection on March 31, 2025 the dealership diagnosed the problem as a battery connection issue. On April 23, 2025 I brought the vehicle in for a scheduled appointment to address all the previous issues and other sensors/modules that malfunctioned. I picked it up on May 8, 2025 after a two-week repair. However, new problems persisted. On May 10th, while traveling to West Texas, the car began shaking violently, and three error codes appeared: Service ESC, Forward Collision System unavailable, and Service Traction Control. This forced me to return to Bastrop. On May 12, 2025 on the way to my 1:30 Chevy appt after a brief stop at the veterinarian, the car was again inoperable due to excessive shaking and had to be towed back to the dealership. I am deeply concerned about the frequency and severity of these module/sensor/computer malfunctions, particularly given the vehicle's relatively low mileage (under/around 30,000 miles). The unreliability poses a considerable safety risk, and the repeated instances of being stranded have caused significant disruption to my life and plans. The cumulative cost and inconvenience are unacceptable for a vehicle of this price. I have invested considerable funds in this vehicle and expected significantly better reliability. I am requesting a thorough investigation into these recurring module/sensor/computer issues. If these problems are not resolved satisfactorily, I will be compelled to pursue legal action under the lemon law. Please advise on the appropriate channels for escalating this matter and whom I should contact further. Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious concern.

It was the fastest we ever bought a vehicle. Staff was great and even got fed Fajitas.

Vehicle needed to be serviced for the AC not blowing cool air. When I received the vehicle back from being serviced there was no coolant in the reservoir. Also there were two pieces that belonged to the vehicle that were on the passenger floor board. One was a circular rubber cover of some sort and the other was a small broken piece of plastic. I informed David in service and they picked my vehicle up and are evaluating the vehicle to see where the pieces go and also supposed to check coolant system.

Went in with a low tire and was on my way in less than an hour. The service team's enthusiasm is what you like to see.

As far as an overall 'report card' rating: Service/ Mr. David- 5 star. Dealership overall, gets a 3. Mr. David goes out of his way to help customers with convenience and service fixed my car quickly. I've had no issues other than my oil change not getting done because it' had 33% left on it---even though when I 1st picked up the car it was 68% left on the oil life (I didn't care what percent it says, I wanted everything topped off and new because I didn't get that when I first bought it and I asked multiple times!) And the inside detail of my vehicle was done poorly. There were still sticky spots in my console. I'm not sure what the purpose of getting these customer reviews are. Pointless to me really. I sent my experience last time and received no feedback or call back! Any concerns that were initially assessed, received zero follow up or follow through.

When you rotate tires. Adjust the air pressure to meet what the tag recommends. The tech didn’t adjust air pressures after rotating tires. Front tires have 37 psi. Back have 32 psi now

I had an excellent sales experience with Jon Cardone. I hope the service department can expand to accommodate the growing volume of customers. My only disappointment was the lengthy wait for a loaner vehicle for my Colorado, which was experiencing coolant issues and a transmission failure. However, the service team did provide me with a rental car after the vehicle failed on my way to Fort Worth, and ultimately, I decided to trade in the Colorado for a new full-size model due to my concerns about potential long-term issues. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome!

Very poor communication from the service advisor I had to call constantly to see what the status of it was. It took two days for a simple oil, change, tire rotation, and to secure an air filter to stop the noise in the air conditioner. When I went to get in my vehicle and leave, they did not put the glove box back in, and it was laying in the floorboard along with all of my contents

From the minute I pulled up, I was greeted, my door opened, a cup of coffee placed in my hand and the service door was held open for me where another cup of coffee was placed in my free hand. Everyone inside welcomed me, all eager to help in anyway possible. Peter my service rep ran right over ready to assist my service needs,while listening intently to my requests. Absolutely was his reply as he held the service door open and a limo pulled up to take me to my shop until my vehicle was completed. In the blink of an eye I received a call my vehicle was ready and a limo was on its way to bring me back to the service center. Upon arrival back at the service center, my door was opened and another cup of coffee was placed in my hand. As earlier, the service door was held open for me and the exact same warm greeting was offered up. While I may have exaggerated slightly, you get the idea.

Wish there was some more communication between the person working on the car and the customer. I was told it would be looked at by a certain date but wasn't looked at until 2 more weeks later. It wouldn't have bothered me much if I had more communication about it taking longer and why.

The appointment process online was easy, and Covert called to verify the appointment. I got right in and had a very short wait. This was the first time I took the truck in, so it was a new experience for me. All questions were answered. We have used Covert for 22 years and the service department is one of the biggest reasons.

I was disappointed with the time it took for the services. I scheduled my vehicle in for an oil change, while my son waited. I guess there were other services need from the package I bought, of which I added the loaner car option so we didn’t have to sit and wait for services. The point is, a simple oil change kept my son waiting for half a day without warning.

This was the second time as it was not repaired the first time.

I booked an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. We were in our way to Tomball so I thought it would be a quick service stop. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes from the time my vehicle was taken to the service bay for those services to be completed which was more than the hour to an hour and a half I was quoted when I arrived. Rita at the service desk although helpful seemed annoyed. A smile goes a long way.

Everything was great from start to finish. Talking wish sales on what exactly I wanted. Adjustments to wheels and tires after it arrived to delivery. Could not have been more satisfied.

My 2022 Chev Silverado engine died while leaving my home and would not restart. I called Covert and they towed in back to dealership where it stayed for 3 weeks. The repair invoice said they replaced a fuel pump module. I find it hard to understand why it took 3 weeks to diagnose and replace a module. The only answer I got when I frequently called to check on it was that "they were working on it". Covert did eventually get me a rental car since no loaners were available.

It was quick for a dealership and did everything they could do since I got screwed over by Eddie in the sale of the vehicle. I was promised stuff in text and then when it came to sign I didn't check it so I didn't get what I was promised. I guess it was my fault. But I can not recommend people to Covert

Everything went okay except the tire rotation. I specifically mentioned to the tech to be aware how they mount back my hub caps. If I personally wouldn't have checked it our I would have lost all my Hub caps by now.

I have consistently had trouble scheduling oil change appointments online. This week was no different. I scheduled an appointment online using a coupon on your website. Because of my previous experiences, I called to confirm that my appointment showed up on the schedule of the service department. It did not. I confirmed with whomever answered that I had made the appointment, the coupon I intended to use and that I had received a confirmation email. I also confirmed the coupon and the price so I would not have any issues when I came in. The coupon was for 8-quart synthetic oil change and tire rotation. After I paid for my service, I went to my car and reviewed the invoice. There was no mention of the tire rotation. I called the service department, and they said they didn't know there was a tire rotation to be completed. I didn't get to speak to the service guy that I was assigned to. The lady came back on the line and asked if wanted to come in the next day. I don't live in Bastrop and it's not convenient for me to travel two days in a row to receive the services I should have received while I was there. So, in short, the service department is disappointing and frustrating at the same time.

Everyone and everything were great, with the exception of the delivery of my truck. It was supposed to be delivered to my office, as usual. Instead, it was taken to my house, which was nice except I was at work. My husband happened to be home and explained to Bryan that I was at work and needed the truck. Bryan said that he didn't know where I worked. My husband explained it to him a couple of times, but Bryan still gave my husband that deer-in-the-headlights look. (I work across from HEB, since 2005). It's not a hard place to find; I had to rearrange my appointments for the afternoon, as Bryan wasn't going to take the truck to my office. My husband ended up having to pick me up from work. Matt and JoAnn were great.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. They got my car finished pretty quick. The waiting area is clean and comfortable.

My wife took my truck to get the recalled air bag replaced. She had to go back cause she noticed the air bag light was still on. The dealership took the truck back into the service dock but they came back and told my wife that they couldn't turn it off cause it was already on when it came in. Now I need to take it somewhere else to get a diagnostic of why the air bag light is still on. Now I'm not sure if the air bag was replaced since the light is still ON.

First time visitor. Everything was as expected. Dawn was very helpful and pleasant to work with. A small snag I experienced was in making my appointment. I was using an email coupon and asked about printing it beforehand. That mix up was the only reason I did not grade "excellent".

Attempted multiple times to have passenger side mirror repaired without success. Unable to obtain reimbursement for manufacture issue with grill after being in contact with GM and the dealership for over a month. There is no accountability in the service department any more.

I have 2 GM vehicles, one purchased from Covert and the other from another dealership, but Dawn and the rest of the service crew take excellent care of both of my GM vehicles as if they were purchased from their dealership just yesterday. They are very responsive and detailed about work that was done, needed, or required due to recalls. I feel like they value my time and yet always make certain that everything is done and that I am aware of what was done and any future scheduled maintenance. 6 hours for an oil change with an appointment and to look at the backup camera with no contact. i had to drive to the dealership to ask about my truck. then was told i needed to replace the camera without knowing if it was bad. seems like they wanted to throw parts at it and sell me parts. this was the first time i have ever used your service department and it will be my last. the service advisor richie was rude and useless. i was looking at buying a new truck even though mine is only 18 months old but not sure i want to buy another chevrolet after dealing with your service department. i was never treated like that when i had my dodge. hands down worst experience ever.

I have religiously taken my 2018 Silverado 1500 to your service department since I purchased it in June of 2018, expecting genuine service and advisement of potential problems that may occur. I dropped my truck off on 9/8/25 to have a tune up, fuel system cleaned and upper and lower ball joints checked. This turned into a $10k plus repair bill some nine days later. I changed my oil with your service department on 1 July 2025 and according to the GM Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection Form, my vehicle was OK with no discrepancies. Even my brakes were at 10mm both front and rear, no hoses with signs of leaking or water pump “weeping”, motor mounts in catastrophic disrepair, no engine oil cooler lines leaking, rear brakes dangerously needing attention or anything else out of order. Now I checked my GM forms from prior visits over the last five years and found in fact that my rear brakes were as low as 4mm on 11Sept 2024 and front as low as 6mm on 16 Jan 2025 with no attention from your service department of repairs, but “gained” measurements up to 10mm just before my vehicle was deemed in catastrophic disrepair by Will in your service department. Also no mention of adding coolant or oil to my system over the last five years, an indicator of leaking hoses or lines, or contamination of the cooling system. He also mentioned that the CV joint boots were leaking, but didn’t repair them this time for some reason. Now instead of making a minor boot repair I may have to repair both CV axles at a later date. If in fact these repairs were genuinely needed your service department has seriously failed me in keeping it in good running order. These repairs should have been identified much earlier and thankfully I was not injured or worse due to this obvious lack of concern for my safety and my vehicle. Will did mention that the repairs carry a two year, unlimited mileage warranty on parts and labor that I can’t find in any form given to me. I am now contemplating using another dealership for future dealings with GM, and if so will let others I have recommended use your services, to keep their eyes open and double check each and every transaction. After all that they didn’t even bother to clean the vehicle. Pathetic follow up. Now I got an email from the dealership stating that there are more “catastrophic repairs” needed, instead of letting me know while they had the vehicle for two weeks to see what I wanted to do or how catastrophic these repairs were, just let me leave and not discuss the issues. No instead he tried to sell me tires. This review may be posted on other social media sites to warn of potential dangers in trusting your service department with their vehicles. The BBB will also receive my entire vehicle transactions with your business from 20 October 2020 to 1 October 2025, showing these disparities. I would have more but keep only five years worth, a practice I will change. Thank you for your time.
