Under the hood is a 2.4-liter dual-overhead-cam four-cylinder with direct injection. A six-speed automatic transmission with Shiftronic sends power to the front wheels. The automatic handles shifts in normal driving, while the Shiftronic feature gives the driver an option to select gears. The listed fuel economy is 24 mpg city and 35 mpg highway. Actual mileage varies with traffic, driving habits and conditions. Cruise control is useful on longer highway stretches, and the trip computer and outside-temperature display put everyday information in front of the driver.

The front bucket seats have active head restraints, and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel lets you adjust both height and reach. Gray cloth and metalgrain accents carry through the cabin. A front center armrest includes storage for small items, with door bins, an overhead console and reading lights for things you want close at hand. The rear seat has its own center armrest and a split-folding backrest. Folding one section gives you space for longer cargo while leaving part of the rear seat available for a passenger. The four doors are also handy when loading groceries, helping someone into the back seat or getting a child settled before a trip.

The six-speaker audio system includes AM/FM, a CD player with MP3 capability and satellite-radio capability. Steering-wheel audio controls keep common adjustments close to hand. Integrated Bluetooth® hands-free phone capability lets you pair a compatible phone for calls. Bring your phone on your visit and we can help you check pairing and audio operation. Satellite services depend on an active subscription. Air conditioning, power windows and power locks are straightforward to use, and remote keyless entry makes it convenient to unlock the car when your hands are full.

Heated power side mirrors, a rear-window defroster and speed-sensitive intermittent wipers help with changing weather. Daytime running lights and delay-off headlights are useful when moving between daylight and a dim parking area. Solar-control glass is another thoughtful detail for a car that spends time outdoors in Central Texas. Four-wheel independent suspension and speed-sensing power steering support everyday driving. On a test drive, try both a neighborhood street and a stretch of highway to get a feel for the ride, steering and driving position.

Four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock braking and brake assist work alongside traction control and electronic stability control. The tire-pressure monitoring system alerts the driver to low pressure. Front, front-seat side-impact and curtain airbags are among the listed occupant-protection features. The CARFAX report shows three previous owners and no accidents or damage reported to CARFAX. Our team can walk through the history with you and demonstrate the seating, folding rear backrest and audio controls in person.
